Infection Management in the Elderly

Age-related changes in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics occur with several drugs and often need to be considered for an optimal dosing regimen of antimicrobials.  

The aim of this course fostered by the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infecctious Diseases is to provide participants with an updated insight into PK/PD concepts of antimicrobial therapy for geriatric patients.
