EGM - APC Price will lower in 2021!

Springer Nature has undertaken an annual review of our APC prices across our entire open access and portfolio to ensure they remain fair for our authors. 

The review considered a number of factors including the time and investment required with publishing in a particular journal e.g. ensuring author expectation of turnaround time is met, that the article is properly indexed and shared, and other author services can be developed and delivered.

Based on this review, in 2021 the APC for European Geriatric Medicine will decrease to 

EUR 2.190 / USD 2.780 / GBP 1.890.

The 2021 price will be updated on our website in October and will be applied to manuscripts in January 2021.
