NRG - Nutrition Research Grant

Dear EuGMS members,

We are delighted to invite you to the Nutrition Research Grant | Nestlé Health Science – EuGMS Grant for EuGMS members.

This grant, offered in collaboration between Nestlé Health Science and EuGMS, aims to support and promote groundbreaking research in Clinical Nutrition for Older Adults with Disease-Related Malnutrition (DRM) and/or Dysphagia.

At EuGMS and Nestlé Health Science, we recognize the critical role that research plays in advancing knowledge and advancement of clinical nutrition in the recovery of nutritional and/or functional status in older adults with DRM and/or Dysphagia. Through this grant, we seek to empower early-career researchers to explore new frontiers on the use of oral nutritional supplements as well as the use of thickeners in older adults.

The Nutrition Research Grant from Nestlé Health Science – EuGMS provides a unique opportunity to receive financial support to pursue your research aspirations. With a total grant amount of 50.000€, we aim to fund 2 projects (25.000€ each project)that demonstrate exceptional promise and align with the objectives of the grant.

We encourage you to submit your research proposal, showcasing your expertise and passion in Clinical Nutrition. The evaluation process will be rigorous, with a committee of esteemed experts carefully assessing each application based on predetermined criteria. Selected grant recipients will not only receive financial support but will also have the opportunity to present their research findings at EuGMS Congress and publish them in European Geriatric Medicine, gaining recognition and exposure.
