German study:

On May 10, the Bundesagentur für Arbeit (the German Public Employment Service), hosted a Peer Review on Public Employment Services and Older Workers. This entailed a study visit by similar agencies from other European countries with the aim to learn more about the Bundesagentur’s experience with measures to stimulate hiring or retention of older workers. The Bundesagentur für Arbeit has piloted various models of qualification counseling for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and has successfully implemented a wage subsidy programmer for employers.
