Train travels across France to change perceptions about ageing

Between 18 September and 3 October 2012, the train “Live Well to Age Well” has been travelling throughout France to promote the benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle. The aim was to raise awareness of demographic ageing and inform citizens about how to approach the future with confidence, enthusiasm and vitality. The train contains an interactive exhibition and the participating stations have been designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas and change public perception. A wide range of innovative solutions and services that meet the concerns of seniors are exhibited, such as technology products designed to support independent living, free medical advice and tests, yoga lessons and healthy cooking workshops.
